I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
