Hazbin Hotel's Showrunner Is Aware of Your Season 2 Predictions — And She Has Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel arrives on Prime Video soon, and audience theories has been rampant.

The first season presents a diverse group of personalities living within Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds with musical numbers about their clashes, and establishes heated competitions and emotional bonds that drive fan obsession.

The community's expectations for season 2 vary widely, but certain threads recur frequently: Will Angel Dust break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining the enigmatic Alastor? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't produce the show with fan service specifically in mind," the showrunner stated earlier this year. "However I believe that me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also want to see these things, and I want some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which finance the series.

That might mean fans have to wait years for some of the biggest payoffs — but they may be surprised at how quickly the new season progresses, and how many of what they're waiting for unfolds now.

"I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we get some really amazing disclosures, some really cool backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

She's certainly aware of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — especially in the form of fan bingo cards.

"I've come across a couple people create a prediction grid about season 2," she mentions. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've actually done some of them, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that leads me to believe we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on the streaming service on October 29.
